As a respected source of real estate news for over two decades, CoStar is looking for experienced journalists with a strong command of the housing beat to join its team. The ideal candidate will have previous reporting experience covering real estate or general business topics at a general interest publication.
Responsibilities include:
* Demonstrating expertise in major industry trends, leaders, and companies
* Collaborating with CoStar's news, research, and analyst teams
* Cultivating sources and gleaning insights from relevant information services
* Producing engaging content for various platforms, including the web, email newsletters, and social media
Requirements include:
* At least 2 years of reporting experience at a daily publication
* Business journalism experience preferred
* Ability to break news, write compelling headlines, and follow AP style
* Strong digital skills, including SEO and social media best practices
* Portfolio showcasing top work
* Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications, or a related field
