enturion American Development Group CEO Mehrdad Moayedi is among those affected by California's devastating wildfires, which have claimed 25 lives and destroyed over 12,000 structures. Moayedi's Malibu home, purchased five years ago and remodeled in 2010, was destroyed last week while unoccupied. The 13,500-square-foot property offered stunning views of the Malibu shoreline.
Moayedi expressed his condolences to the community, stating that the impact of the fire will be felt deeply by neighbors and friends. Centurion American is a prominent player in North Texas real estate, having completed over 100,000 single-family lots since its inception in 1990. The company plans to build more than 4,000 homes within the Alpha Ranch community north of Fort Worth, with construction set to begin this year.
Moayedi's personal interests also include aviation; he purchased Donald Trump's 1997 Cessna jet for around $10 million in 2023. As a Republican megadonor, Moayedi contributed significantly to Trump Victory and other GOP entities in 2019 and 2020.
