ordon Crawford's oceanfront mansion at 63 Monarch Bay Drive in Dana Point has sold for a record-breaking $34 million, surpassing its previous sale price of $33 million when he purchased it in 2022. The property was initially listed for $46 million in 2023 and had its price reduced before selling.

    The buyer, whose identity remains unknown, was attracted to the mansion's size - 7,700 square feet - and amenities, including a private beach club within the Monarch Bay gated community. The sale also included the removal of some furniture, art, and home items for $2 million.

    Crawford and his wife had been trying to sell the four-bedroom, six-bathroom property for nearly a year after purchasing it as a new home. They made some renovations during their time there, including updating the primary bathroom and converting the wine cellar into an office.

    The sale breaks the Dana Point record price set by the same house when Crawford bought it three years ago, according to The Wall Street Journal. Another high-end property in the area, a villa in the Strand at Headlands community, sold for $28 million last month.
