arron County Treasurer Samantha Sommerfeld is reminding property tax payers that 2024 Postponed Real Estate Taxes are due by July 31, 2025. For City of Rice Lake taxes, payments must be made directly to the city. All other Barron County real estate taxes should be paid to the county treasurer's office.

    A drop box is available at the main entrance of the Barron County Government Center on Monroe Ave for convenient payment submission. When mailing a payment, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want a receipt sent back to you.
