idford Capital LLC, a Denver-based commercial real estate company, has acquired the 115,000-square-foot Aurora Plaza shopping center for $16 million. The property, located at 15001-15293 E Mississippi Ave., spans 10.60 acres and is 80% occupied.
Aurora Plaza attracts over 740,000 visitors annually and features a diverse mix of tenants, including medical offices, restaurants, and retail shops. Notable tenants include Hero Dental, Kid to Kid, Rent-A-Center, and Domino's Pizza.
The JLL Capital Market team, led by Managing Director Jason Schmidt and Director Austin Snedden, represented the seller in the transaction. "Aurora Plaza's strong leasing activity demonstrates its appeal in this high-traffic location," said Schmidt. The property offers significant value-enhancement opportunities due to its exposure to 88,000 vehicles daily.
Originally built in 1982 and renovated in 2001, Aurora Plaza is situated in a dense retail corridor with national retailers like Walmart and Target nearby. "This transaction highlights the continued investor appetite for well-located neighborhood retail centers," said Snedden.
Sidford Capital has a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including Meadows at Lone Tree, Centerpointe Plaza, and Westminster Square. The company manages and leases over 750,000 square feet of commercial real estate owned.
