P
ittsburgh's Downtown area is set to undergo significant changes, according to a recent study by Point Park University. The university recommends boosting the Golden Triangle with new restaurants and increasing investments in real estate and infrastructure. A key focus of their proposal is revamping the Parkway East, specifically the section known as "The Bathtub." This stretch of road has been likened to a concrete river, dubbed the Boulevard of the Allies.
Point Park University's Vice President, Ted Black, envisions this area being reimagined to better serve the community. He notes that the university aims to restore enrollment numbers to pre-pandemic levels.
