utch Bros Coffee has finalized its move from Portland, Oregon to Tempe, Arizona. The company signed a lease for 136,426 square feet at Liberty Center at Rio Salado in Tempe and relocated earlier this year. The estimated cost of the relocation is $41 million.
Initially, Dutch Bros planned to keep its headquarters in Portland but decided to consolidate more corporate operations in one location. This move will allow the company to better serve customers and crews across the country. In July 2022, Dutch Bros signed a full-building lease for the Tempe office space, making it one of the largest office leases in Arizona that year.
Dutch Bros was founded in Grants Pass, Oregon in 1992 and went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021. Since its IPO, the company has experienced significant growth, with annual revenue increasing by 32% to $1.3 billion last year. The coffee chain operates over 1,000 stores across 18 states, including nearly 90 locations in Arizona.
