inding a great boss is challenging, but Adam Stein and Ron Posner have achieved this feat. They're often credited as the reason people stay at their company, CENTURY 21 Stein Posner, which has been ranked the top small workplace in South Florida for three years running.
Stein and Posner attribute their success to their opposing yet likable dynamic. "I'm a teddy bear, and he's a hard ass," Posner joked about Stein. As co-owners of CENTURY 21 Stein Posner, they've created a special work environment where employees feel motivated and supported.
Realtor Michael Wagner has been with the company for 10 years and credits Stein and Posner as his mentors. "They're extremely motivating, supportive in every way, and it's great to have someone you respect to share ideas with," he said. Wagner was gifted a bottle of champagne to celebrate his anniversary, highlighting the company's appreciation for its employees.
Stein leads weekly staff meetings where he asks introspective questions and shares wisdom on productivity and success. He encourages realtors to reassure clients in uncertain financial times, emphasizing the importance of providing advice and reassurance. Stein and Posner's business philosophy extends beyond selling homes; they aim to grow entrepreneurs and leaders within their company.
As a productivity coach, Posner has developed a curriculum on coaching, while Stein acts as a performance coach. They're also big on mentorship, with Stein and Posner taking the time to guide new employees like Rachel Greenbaum, who made a sale within her first three weeks at the company.
Stein and Posner prioritize keeping things fun, celebrating their team's accomplishments and recognizing their tenure. At the end of meetings, realtors spin a wheel to earn prizes, such as money for gas or Starbucks. Their approach has created a positive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated to succeed.
