'Agence, a Los Angeles-based women's apparel company, has signed a 21,000-square-foot office lease at the Harbor Building on Wilshire Boulevard. The fashion house will occupy half of the fifth floor and expects to move in on November 1st. JLL represented Jamison Properties, the landlord, while Kidder Mathews' Richard Abdulian represented L'Agence.
The Harbor Building, a historic landmark built in 1958 for J. Paul Getty's Tidewater Oil Company, is home to several creative companies, including Creative Advertising and Community Films. The building's rental rates range from $3.20 per square foot per month on the first through fourth floors.
L'Agence joins a growing list of tenants in the Park Mile neighborhood, which includes other fashion and entertainment brands. The company currently operates stores in Beverly Hills, Malibu, New York, and Paris, as well as a denim concept on Melrose Place. Its recent expansion includes a new store in South Korea and a 10-year lease for retail space at 956 Madison Avenue in New York.
