F
at Brands, the parent company behind popular brands like Fatburger and Johnny Rockets, has renewed its lease for a 15,400-square-foot headquarters in Beverly Hills. The firm will continue to occupy the eight-story building at 9720 Wilshire Boulevard, where it has been based for seven years. Terms of the deal with landlord Anderson Real Estate were not disclosed.
Fat Brands owns 18 restaurant brands, including Fazoli's and Great American Cookies, with over 2,300 locations worldwide. The company recently acquired Florida-based Smokey Bones Bar & Grill for $30 million. According to a JLL market report, leasing activity in greater Los Angeles increased in the third quarter.
"This deal highlights the importance of physical office spaces," said Gabe Brown, broker for Fat Brands. "Companies are prioritizing strategic locations that foster collaboration and innovation." With interest rates expected to decrease and office attendance on the rise, demand is likely to increase across L.A.'s diverse tenant base.
