prime waterfront lot in Indian Creek Village, a billionaire's playground in South Florida, has seen its asking price slashed by $50 million. The plot, which was initially listed for $200 million last year, is now on the market for $150 million. Ilya Reznik of the Reznik Group, handling the listing, remains tight-lipped about the identity of the seller but believes Jeff Bezos' presence in the neighborhood will attract deep-pocketed buyers.

    Bezos has been on a buying spree in Indian Creek Village since 2023, purchasing three properties and joining other high-profile residents like Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. The gated community is known for its exclusivity, with waterfront views and amenities like a golf course and private police force.

    Despite the significant price drop, Reznik remains optimistic about the property's prospects. "Not too many people can pay this kind of money for the lot, but we have a number of billionaires who are looking at the property," he said. The 1.84-acre plot offers stunning views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay, making it an ideal spot to build a dream home.

    The sellers, private individuals who purchased the land in 2018 for $27.5 million, had initially planned to develop the site but changed their plans. A conceptual design-build plan is available for a sprawling 25,000-square-foot estate, courtesy of builder Manny Angelo Varas of MV Group USA. Indian Creek Village's elite roster of residents also includes Tom Brady and financier Carl Icahn.

    The property's proximity to Bezos' properties makes it an attractive opportunity for deep-pocketed buyers looking to join the neighborhood's exclusive ranks. Reznik notes that the seller's identity is less important than the fact that the land is next door to one of the world's richest men.
