T
he Florida Realtors association released its August 2024 market report, revealing a statewide median single-family home sale price of $411,638, down 0.8% from the same period last year and significantly lower than July's reported $417,000 median price. This decline marks a notable shift in the state's housing market.
Townhouses and condos also saw a decrease in median sales prices, dropping to $310,000, a 4.3% drop from August of last year. These changes indicate a cooling trend in Florida's real estate market.
