ormer boxing champion Mike Tyson has purchased a luxurious lakefront mansion in Delray Beach for $13 million. The 12,286-square-foot estate on El Caballo Court features six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and an array of amenities including an 80-foot pool, spa, covered terrace, bass pond with waterfall, gym, and four-car garage. Developed by a Delray Beach-based company led by Joseph Creamer, the property was completed recently and initially listed for nearly $17 million in 2023.
Creamer, who also represented the property as an agent with Abigail Wapner Realty, paid $1.5 million for the land in December 2021. Jonathan Schneider of Wimbledon Real Estate, who has worked with the Tyson family for years, facilitated the sale. The Tysons already own a mansion outside Las Vegas and a cottage on an air strip in Delray Beach.
The purchase is one of several high-end deals in western Palm Beach County, where a retired tech CEO set a record by paying $36.8 million for a waterfront mansion in December. This surpassed the previous price record set when a company linked to retail developer Cafaro Company paid $26 million for a lakefront mansion in the same neighborhood in 2023.
