he Shenehon Center for Real Estate at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business will honor four new inductees into the Minnesota Real Estate Hall of Fame on November 12 at The Club in Golden Valley. The ceremony, a breakfast program, will feature Aron Ralston—known for the survival story that inspired the film “127 Hours”—as keynote speaker.

The Hall of Fame, founded in 2010, celebrates real‑estate leaders who have made a lasting impact on the industry while caring for their communities. The four inductees were chosen for their transformative influence, ethical leadership, and community commitment.

**Chuck Lutz** – former deputy director of Minneapolis’ CPED/MCDA – guided the city through landmark projects such as the $1 billion U.S. Bank Stadium, the $600 million Downtown East redevelopment, and the Target Center renovation. After retiring in 2019, he continues to advise the city and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority. His career exemplifies technical excellence and a dedication to shaping Minneapolis for future generations.

**Kelley Lindquist** – founder of Artspace Projects Inc. – turned a $60,000 startup into a national nonprofit real‑estate developer. Over 38 years he expanded the organization to 70 staff, a $20 million annual budget, and 51 mixed‑use projects totaling more than $600 million. Artspace’s Lindquist Legacy Fund, established in 2017, honors his leadership. He retired in 2024, leaving a lasting legacy in America’s cultural infrastructure.

**Pat Ryan** – chairman of the board of Ryan Cos. – has steered the family business for over 35 years, including a decade as president and CEO. His guidance produced major Twin Cities projects such as Midtown Exchange, Downtown East with Wells Fargo towers, and the 122‑acre Highland Bridge redevelopment, as well as national developments like State Farm’s Marina Heights in Arizona. Since 2018, he has sharpened the company’s focus on governance, capital formation, and senior housing, ensuring long‑term vitality.

**Sid Bader** – co‑founder of Bader Companies in 1963 – grew the firm into a multifaceted enterprise that owns, manages, and operates more than 17,000 residential units across the Twin Cities and Dallas. His strategic approach to multifamily housing and market insight earned him industry respect. Beyond real estate, Bader mentors emerging leaders, instilling values of integrity, perseverance, and service that shape both people and neighborhoods.

The inductees will be formally welcomed during the breakfast ceremony on Wednesday, November 12, at The Club in Golden Valley, where Aron Ralston will deliver the keynote address.
