As one of Fresno's top residential real estate brokers, Annette Dedios is making waves in the industry not just as an expert, but also as a community-driven leader. With over 12 years of experience under her belt, Dedios has built a reputation for herself and her brokerage, Milestone Real Estate.
Dedios launched Milestone Real Estate in 2021, initially operating solo before expanding to a team of six agents within just six months. The brand evolved from Annette Dedios Broker after she hired her first agent, Noemi Hernandez. "We grew rapidly," Dedios said, "and now we're proud to call this new building our home."
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new office marked a significant milestone for Milestone Real Estate and its founder. Dedios has always been passionate about working in Downtown Fresno, recalling her teenage years when she would visit her mom for lunch near the old commercial real estate office that now houses her business.
During her internship at the Downtown Fresno Partnership, Dedios worked closely with Craig Scharton, who helped shape her understanding of urban entrepreneurship and community revitalization. Her experience has influenced her approach to real estate, emphasizing the importance of supporting local businesses and events.
Dedios credits her education in entrepreneurship from Fresno State for giving her the confidence to take risks and stand out in the industry. "We're taught to lean into fear – that without risk, there's no reward," she said. The name Milestone was chosen because it represents the significant moments in people's lives when they make a move, such as buying a home.
Looking ahead, Dedios plans to continue growing her team and expanding her presence in Downtown Fresno. "I want to add more agents who share my passion for serving the community with integrity," she said. With her sights set on opening more locations in downtown areas, Dedios is poised to make a lasting impact on Fresno's real estate scene.
