eveloper Max Nobel has reduced the asking price of a Beverly Hills mansion once owned by Kiss rocker Gene Simmons to $34 million, down from its original listing price of $48 million. The 16,300-square-foot estate at 2650 Benedict Canyon Drive features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms across three stories.
Nobel purchased the property in 2021 for $16 million after it was built by Simmons in the 1980s as a 13,400-square-foot mansion. Nobel added an additional 3,000 square feet to create the current layout, which includes two primary bedrooms, an oversized couch pit, and double-height floor-to-ceiling windows.
The property boasts a 60-foot pool, a dining area for 30 people, and numerous seating areas with sweeping views of Los Angeles. A detached garage can accommodate up to 20 vehicles, in addition to the three-car garage attached to the house. Nobel partnered with Emil Khodorkovsky of Forbix Capital on the project, which was completed last year.
Broker Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman holds the listing for the property, which is a testament to Simmons's legacy as one of four founding members of Kiss, known for their hard-rock sound and hits like "Rock and Roll All Nite" and "I Was Made for Lovin' You."
