odd Eagle, a top Goldman Sachs real estate banker, has left the firm to join Jefferies. Insiders claim his name has been removed from Goldman's internal staff directory and he is set to become US head of real estate banking at Jefferies under Michael Bluhm, global head of real estate, gaming & lodging.

Eagle will report directly to Bluhm, but his FINRA profile remains unchanged, indicating a delay in updating his departure. Spokespeople for Goldman Sachs and Jefferies declined to comment on the move.

As managing director, Eagle has extensive experience advising clients, including Blackstone's $18.7 billion acquisition of GLP's logistics portfolio in 2019. A Harvard MBA graduate, he joined Goldman as an analyst in 1990 and has twice briefly left the firm before rejoining as a managing director.

Eagle spent four years in London heading Goldman's European real estate investment banking unit and advised public and private companies on mergers, acquisitions, and financing opportunities. His departure marks another high-profile exit from Goldman Sachs' real estate team.
