arrison Ford was spotted talking with police officers near his $12.6 million home in Brentwood on Tuesday as the Palisades Fire continued to rage. The actor, 82, had previously evacuated but attempted to return to check on his property after being blocked off by authorities at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Mandeville Canyon Road.
Photos show Ford engaging with LAPD officers, smiling and chatting with them while getting out of his black Tesla. At one point, he looked nervous, seemingly worried about the fate of his home. He was reportedly trying to drive into his community to check on his house after evacuating earlier.
Ford is among many celebrities whose homes have been threatened or destroyed by the Palisades Fire, which has burned over 15,000 acres in LA and forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate. Paris Hilton revealed that her Malibu home was destroyed by the flames, an event she witnessed live on TV. Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag also lost their Pacific Palisades home.
As of Wednesday evening, five people have died from the wildfires raging through Los Angeles. LAPD officers were stationed at various locations to block off access to endangered neighborhoods, including Ford's community in Brentwood.
