oward Hanna Real Estate Services is contributing $20,777 to UVA Health Children's through its Howard Hanna Children's Free Care Fund. The donation will support the Patient and Family-Centered Care Program, which assists families with essential needs such as lodging, transportation, meals, and more while their children receive care at UVA Health Children's.

    Throughout 2024, agents in Charlottesville, Zion Crossroads, and Greene County collected funds for the Free Care Fund. This effort is part of the company's ongoing support for UVA Health Children's. Local agents also visit the hospital to spread holiday cheer and decorate during the winter season.

    UVA Health Children's offers comprehensive care in over 30 specialties across Virginia and beyond. The facility, located within UVA Health University Medical Center, features more than 110 beds, a pediatric emergency department, and specialized units for infants and children. The UVA Health Children's Ambulatory Clinics provide integrated outpatient care to families in the region.

    U.S. News ranks UVA Health Children's as Virginia's top children's hospital, with eight specialties among the nation's top 50.
