he Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) has issued a request for proposals to invest in closed-end, value-added, opportunistic U.S. residential real estate funds. IMRF is seeking equity funds that focus on diverse residential property options or have at least 75% of their capital invested in such properties.
A minimum commitment of $50 million will be made to selected strategies. The request for proposals will be posted on October 28 with a deadline of November 22, and can be accessed through the IMRF website at www.imrf.org under Business Opportunities in the Investments tab.
