he Irvine Company is investing $24 million to upgrade four office campuses in Orange County. The Newport Beach-based developer plans to revamp the Jamboree Center and Irvine Business Center in Irvine, Pacific Arts Plaza in Costa Mesa, and Newport Center in Newport Beach. This move comes after the company reported over 1.8 million square feet of new leases since July 1, highlighting a "flight to quality" in the local market.
The upgrades will focus on creating high-quality workplaces that meet the evolving needs of tenants. At Jamboree Center, a $17 million makeover will include a fitness and wellness center, updated entries, lobbies, and meeting rooms, as well as a new restaurant. The Irvine Company will also spend $7 million on building entries at Irvine Business Center, improve event rooms at Pacific Arts Plaza, and update Newport Center with a new media wall and landscaping.
The company's investment reflects the strong demand for high-quality offices in Orange County. With 54 million square feet of office space across six major markets, the Irvine Company is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend.
