Jamestown Law Building Sold as Part of Real Estate Package

South County law office building sold to new partner in same firm.

A
south county law office building has been sold to a partner in the same firm. Fessenden, Laumer, & DeAngelo, PLLC's location at 81 Forest Ave., Jamestown was purchased by 81 Forest Avenue, LLC of Jamestown for $240,000. The new owner is Galena Duba-Weaver, a law partner and her husband.

    The sale was made by Kevin Laumer and Charles DeAngelo, dba FLD Properties, who wanted to keep the building in the firm's ownership. "The firm will continue for many years," said DeAngelo. "Operations will stay the same." He added that he has no plans to retire soon, stating, "I'm addicted to this place."

    Fessenden, Laumer, & DeAngelo also operates out of Fredonia and Olean, but those offices are not owned by FLD Properties.

    In other real estate transactions from April 8-14, four sales exceeded $250,000. These included:

    * 3593 Lake St., Ellicott sold for $365,000

    * Unit 8241, Canterbury Woods I Condominium, French Creek sold for $359,000

    * 8905 West Ave., Portland sold for $303,000

    * 2710 Main Road, Sheridan sold for $265,000

    There were a total of 59 transactions during this period.
