J
C Lee, daughter of Marvel Comics co-creator Stan Lee, has put her Los Angeles home on the market with an $8.8 million price tag. The single-story estate, located in the Bird Streets neighborhood above the Sunset Strip, was purchased by Stan and his wife Joan for JC in 2014 for $4.4 million.
The 5,200-square-foot compound features three bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a range of luxurious amenities. These include a sound system that extends to showers, a theater, and a cabana designed for outdoor events. The home's interior boasts modern glamour with old-school charm, featuring tiered columns, crown moldings, and multiple fireplaces.
Inside, the foyer flows into a den with a built-in bar and fireplace, as well as a formal living room, dining room, kitchen with center island, two guest rooms, office, and home movie theater. The primary suite boasts oversized walk-in closets, private sauna, and two separate bathrooms.
The grounds feature a pool, spa, cabana, and paved upper deck perfect for hosting large gatherings. Stan Lee's love for the property is evident in his daughter JC's statement: "My father and I loved this house at first sight... it was made for parties and entertaining." The property is listed by Naomi Selick of Douglas Elliman.
