Kadin takes center stage in San Francisco as Tishman steps back

Transitioning to an Advisory Role: Carl Shannon's Legacy at Tishman Speyer

fter more than a quarter century as a senior managing director at Tishman Speyer, Carl Shannon is transitioning to an advisory role. Shannon has been instrumental in several major developments in San Francisco since joining the company in 1998, including the Rincon Hill condominium project that marked the city's emergence from the Great Recession. He also played a key role in the development of about 2 million square feet of commercial space and thousands of residential units in San Francisco. Shannon's contributions to the city's skyline have been recognized through his regular placement on the Business Times Power 100 list in recent years.

    Taking over Shannon's responsibilities is Maggie Kadin, a veteran managing director with eight years of experience in Tishman's San Francisco office. Kadin has overseen several significant projects, including the redevelopment of Mission Rock in partnership with the San Francisco Giants. She has also been recognized as one of the Bay Area's Most Influential Women in Business in 2022 by the Business Times.

    Under Kadin's leadership, Tishman has several projects in the pipeline for San Francisco, including the Brennan Square office development, an office project in the SoMa district entitled for 1.2 million square feet, and subsequent phases of the Mission Rock project. These developments are expected to further enhance Tishman's presence in the city and contribute to its continued growth and prosperity.
