he second installment of the Knox County 2024 real estate bills is due on Wednesday, September 3. To avoid a statutory penalty, payments must be postmarked by this date.

    Two payment drop boxes are available on the grounds of the Knox County Courthouse at 200 S. Cherry St. Alternatively, you can make an e-check or credit/debit card payment with a fee through the Treasurer's office online at www.payknoxcoil.us, over the phone at (309) 315-4760, or in person.

    Payments can also be made at any bank in Knox County except Wells Fargo until September 3. The Treasurer/Collector's office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, but will be closed on Labor Day, September 1. For questions or concerns, call (309) 345-3811.
