T
he Kushner family's ties to President-elect Donald Trump continue to yield benefits. Charles Kushner, the patriarch and founder of Kushner Companies, a leading private real estate firm, has been tapped by Trump to serve as US ambassador to France. In a Truth Social post announcing the selection, Trump highlighted Charlie Kushner's leadership role in the company, which boasts significant success and growth.

This appointment comes on the heels of Charles Kushner's pardon by Trump in 2020, after serving time for federal convictions. Meanwhile, Jared Kushner has maintained a low profile since leaving his senior advisor position in the White House following four years under Trump.

The family's business fortunes have soared since 2016, with Kushner Companies' valuation nearly tripling to $2.9 billion. This surpasses the value of Trump's own real estate empire, which is worth $2.2 billion, according to Forbes.

Jared Kushner's brother, Joshua, appointed to French diplomatic position in Paris.
