s the chief executive of Caruso, a Fairfax-based commercial real estate development and management firm specializing in retail and hospitality assets, Verdery oversees operations. Founded by Rick Caruso, the company has been under her leadership since September 2022. Prior to this role, she served as chief development officer at Caruso for six years, managing acquisitions, design, construction, and tenant services. Her experience also includes a stint as chief real estate development officer at NBCUniversal, where she spearheaded the multibillion-dollar NBCUniversal Evolution Plan over 25 years. Additionally, Verdery held the position of second vice president at Oasis West Realty/Alagem Capital Group.
