ansing, Mich. – The city launches the second edition of Supporting Empowered, Emerging, Developers (SEED Academy), a free 18‑month training for developers. Participants attend five in‑person days, deliver a capstone project, join four quarterly virtual deep‑dives, receive one‑on‑one technical help, and benefit from mentorship, capital‑access resources, and networking with local government, finance, and development experts. The program teaches loan packaging and site assessment skills. Eligibility requires residency or property ownership within Lansing’s corporate limits.
