Las Vegas Realtors board ousts high-end agent in disciplinary action

LVR board removes agent as Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors director effective immediately.

L
uxury real estate agent Zarbod Zanganeh has been removed from the Las Vegas Realtors board, according to an email sent to members obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors (LVR) stated in the email that Zanganeh is no longer a director effective immediately.

The LVR board expressed disappointment with Zanganeh's decision to malign the organization and spread falsehoods about his removal on social media, citing concerns over potential litigation. However, they vowed to expose the truth behind his accusations if he follows through on his threat to sue.

Zanganeh, managing partner of The Agency, described his removal as a "godsend" and accused LVR of a pattern of discrimination and retaliation. Despite requests for comment, LVR has not disclosed the reason for Zanganeh's removal.

A controversy-plagued year at LVR began with a fight between two real estate agents at a board meeting in March 2023, followed by allegations of election interference that led to CEO Wendy DiVecchio's suspension. Multiple members filed formal complaints against LVR leadership with the Nevada attorney general's office, and several high-profile resignations occurred in January.

In February, DiVecchio sued LVR and several real estate agents for wrongful termination and defamation, claiming she was wrongfully terminated after an investigation into alleged election tampering. Zanganeh has over 20 listings exceeding $1 million on The Agency's website and more than 26 years of experience in real estate.
