Liza Colón-Zayas Stars in Hulu Pilot with Supporting Cast of 4

Emmy winner Liza Colón-Zayas joins Hulu's untitled real estate drama pilot alongside William Fichtner and Alfredo Castro.

iza Colón-Zayas, an Emmy Award winner known for her role in The Bear, has joined the cast of a new real estate drama pilot ordered by Hulu's Onyx Collective. She will appear in a recurring role alongside William Fichtner, Alfredo Castro, and Jared Paul Abrahamson.

    The drama follows two rival real estate developers as they risk everything to dominate the Manhattan skyline. Colón-Zayas will play Rosie, the head of a community board in her Lower East Side neighborhood, who finds herself at the center of an explosive development project that threatens to destroy her community.

    Fichtner will play Harry Dempsey, a steady father figure and mentor to one of the developers. Castro will portray Jacobo Saladín, a self-made billionaire and real estate mogul whose empire is on the brink of collapse. Abrahamson will play Angelo, a close friend and associate of the other developer.

    Production begins in Toronto on July 14 with Edgar Ramirez and Jacob Scipio leading the cast as the rival developers. Leslie Grace, Mariana di Girolamo, Liz Caribel Sierra, and Armando Rivera also star in the series.

    The show is created by Roberto Patino and Cassius Corrigan, who will executive produce alongside a team including real estate developer Donahue Peebles III. Colón-Zayas is represented by Stewart Talent, Liebman Entertainment, and Schreck Rose Dapello, while Fichtner is repped by Innovative and Principal Entertainment LA.
