T
he 4th Annual Around Town Real Estate Custom-Built Playhouse Raffle is underway, with the prize on display at 17 Church Hill Road. Chris Haggerty, an Around Town team member, built the playhouse using donated materials from East Haven & Ridgefield Building Supply.
The raffle benefits FAITH Food Pantry, a nondenominational organization that has been serving Newtown residents for over 42 years. The fundraiser is tied to the Newtown Labor Day parade and will close on September 6, with the drawing scheduled for September 8. Entries start at $10 each and can be purchased online or by scanning the QR code on the sign.
Last year's raffle raised over $2,000, and organizers hope to exceed that amount this year. The playhouse is a lead-up to the parade, and tickets are available through aroundtownct.com/winthishouse or by finding Around Town Real Estate on Facebook or Instagram.
