ealtopia Real Estate Inc. in Lockport recently raised $2,824 for Honor Flight Chicago through a campaign that boosted listings at their downtown boutique brokerage. According to Realtopia's release, the initiative encouraged new listings between August 30 and November 11, with a pledge of $100 per signing.
The funds will support Honor Flight Chicago, which honors U.S. senior war veterans by taking them on a one-day trip to Washington D.C., recognizing their bravery, determination, and patriotism. Realtopia's managing broker Ashley York chose this cause after her grandfather received a life-changing experience from the organization during his Korean War service.
York recalled witnessing her grandfather's emotional welcome home at Midway airport and being touched by the connection between veterans and younger generations. For more information on Honor Flight Chicago and Realtopia Real Estate, visit honorflightchicago.org and realtopiare.com respectively.
