he Longhorn Ballroom has opened a new multi-use building on its campus southeast of downtown Dallas along Riverfront Boulevard. The 26,000-square-foot facility was originally constructed in 1950 as part of music legend Bob Wills' Ranch House and once served as a motel for touring musicians. The restored two-story building retains its original aesthetic and features co-working spaces, residential live-work studios, and small restaurant areas.
The Longhorn Ballroom is celebrating its 75th anniversary jubilee this year and will open a 6,500-capacity outdoor amphitheater along the Trinity River in the fall. The venue will host soft opening shows starting with Randy Rogers on September 20, 2025.
Dallas-based AT&T has signed a 12-year lease at The Tower at Lakeside in Richardson, occupying seven floors of the 16-story Class A office tower. The telecom giant's move will include a $15.8 million investment by property owner Provident to accommodate building improvements. Richardson's AT&T workforce is expected to grow from 400 to 1,400.
Downtown's One Arts Plaza has welcomed three new tenants: Willow Bridge Property Company, Lavazza, and Logistics Property Company. Allen's FarmWorks One will have two new tenants: Moss and MKA International, Inc.
National Distribution Centers, L.P., signed a long-term lease at Fort Worth South Business Park, occupying the remaining 129,143 square feet of Building #5. Indiana-based Milhaus broke ground on Atheria at West Grove, a 389-unit Class-A apartment and townhome community in McKinney. Carbon Companies has broken ground on the final two phases of The Links on PGA Parkway, a luxury multifamily development in Frisco's Urban Village.
Encore Enterprises acquired a two-story medical office building for $7 million in Plano.
