A historic Bernardsville estate that hadn't hit the market in over 50 years sold for $3 million on March 28, while a Colonial-style Summit mansion fetched $3.75 million just days before.

    But it wasn't all about the high-end sales. In Clinton Township, a refined farmhouse at 31 Chalfonte Drive sold for $1.65 million on March 14, nearly $200,000 over its asking price. The estate boasts a brick porch, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a primary suite with a colossal bathroom.

    Meanwhile, in Edison, a new smart home at 2 Hemlock Drive sold for $1.875 million on March 13, $75,000 above its listed price. This modern masterpiece features 10-foot ceilings, Pella windows, and a kitchen with high-end appliances and custom cabinetry.

    These sales may have been lucky breaks for buyers, but they also raise questions about the future of the real estate market. With uncertainty on the stock market looming, will these prices hold up in the face of economic turbulence? Only time will tell.
