Maine Clay Collaborative Leases 65 Hanover St. Space in Portland's West Bayside Neighborhood

Portland, ME - Woman-owned Maine Clay Collaborative signs agreement with Reveler Development and Port Property for project.

eveler Development, in partnership with Port Property, is pleased to announce that Maine Clay Collaborative has signed a 7-year lease for 65 Hanover Street in Portland's West Bayside neighborhood. The woman-owned business will occupy the space formerly known as "Barrett Made," further enhancing the commercial offerings of Hanover Works.

    "We're excited to welcome Maine Clay Collaborative to Hanover Works," said John Laliberte, CEO of Reveler Development. "Our goal is to create vibrant and inclusive communities where people can live, work, and play. With its growing number of retailers and cultural attractions like The Armature, Hanover Works is becoming a hub for creativity and community-driven energy."

    Maine Clay Collaborative, operated by Linda Christen and her daughter Sam Dooley, will offer memberships, workshops, classes, and a gallery featuring student work available for purchase. They'll also be an authorized distributor for Sheffield Clay.

    "We want to create a space that fosters connection and uplifts the community," said Linda. "Art gives us the chance to grow and explore, and we're excited to see how this studio helps others thrive on their creative journeys." Sam added, "Being able to do this with my mom makes it even more special."

    Maine Clay Collaborative aims to provide a supportive environment for creative expression under values of belonging, curiosity, and sustainability. Their mission is to engage and inspire the local community through artistic development and community-driven initiatives.
