ANTUCKET, Mass. – Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of Old South Self Storage, a unique self-storage property in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The 198-unit facility at 54 Old South Road boasts climate-controlled units spanning 17,344 square feet and has consistently maintained an occupancy rate of 90-100%.
"We're pleased to have facilitated the successful sale of this prime storage asset on Nantucket Island," said Michael Palladino, associate. "The property's strong potential for growth drew significant interest from local and regional buyers, resulting in a favorable deal that met both parties' expectations."
Palladino, Kevin Bledsoe, and Matthew Junkin had the exclusive listing to market the property, while Thomas Shihadeh assisted with closing the transaction. Built in 2018, Old South Self Storage is one of only four storage properties on Nantucket Island, making it a rare gem in the competitive storage market.
