A
major buyer has snapped up a significant portion of Miami Beach's La Gorce Island, paying $100 million for three adjacent waterfront parcels. Consumer goods mogul Anand Khubani purchased the properties - 18, 22 and 24 La Gorce Circle - which initially hit the market two years ago with a $170 million price tag.
The assemblage includes a two-bedroom home, dock, and guest house at 18 La Gorce Circle; a five-bedroom home and dock at 22 La Gorce Circle; and a park at 24 La Gorce Circle. The sale marks Miami-Dade County's most expensive residential deal since 2019, when Ken Griffin spent $106.9 million on an estate in Coconut Grove.
The seller was the trust of Dr. M. Lee Pearce, who assembled the multi-parcel property over three decades ago for $3.1 million. The Jills Zeder Group represented the seller, while Douglas Elliman's Brett Harris and Bespoke's Zach and Cody Vichinsky represented Khubani, founder of Jersey-based Ideavillage Products.
Ideavillage creates and partners with high-potential brands, including Copper Fit and Microtouch. The sale has been anticipated for some time, although previous reports have confused Anand with his brother Ajit "AJ" Khubani, an infomercial king famous for "As Seen on TV" ads.
