A
high-end Miami Beach home has found a buyer, with the sale topping last week's signed contracts report. The 5,400-square-foot, five-bedroom house at 1155 North Shore Drive was listed by Compass agent Todd Nordstrom and owned by Stefan Demmerle, president of BorgWarner's PowerDrive Systems, and his wife Susanne. Completed this year, the property features a cabana, heated saltwater pool, wine cooler, elevator, and EV car charging.
The sale is one of 11 contracts marked in the Multiple Listing Service between Oct. 28 and Nov. 3, with an asking dollar volume of $98 million for eight single-family homes and three condos. The average asking price for single-family homes was around $9.4 million, while condos averaged nearly $2,744 per square foot.
Notably, a top condo contract was signed for a unit at Mr. C Residences in Coconut Grove, with an asking price of $9.8 million. In comparison to last week's sales, the combined asking price for 11 properties was $88.1 million. Meanwhile, in New York, buyers signed contracts for 26 homes worth a combined $168.6 million, with the typical home spending 680 days on the market.
