he Upfront financial platform is launching a new division called Vero, which will integrate with MoxiWorks software and continue to serve the real estate industry. The move comes as MoxiWorks doubles down on its sales and marketing solutions by selling off its back-office accounting product, MoxiBalance, to Vero. Over 150 brokerages and 20,000 agents in the US and Canada used MoxiBalance.
MoxiWorks CEO Eric Elfman sees this shift as a natural evolution of the company's focus on empowering real estate professionals with sales and marketing tools. Ishtyaq Ahmed, former GM of MoxiBalance, is joining Upfront as chief product officer to lead Vero's development. The two companies assure customers that their software integration will continue without disruption.
In other industry news, UtahRealEstate.com has launched reDataExport, a data distribution solution for public agencies and universities. NorthStarMLS in Minnesota becomes the first customer of this new service, which aims to simplify data access while protecting confidentiality.
DirectOffer is enhancing its virtual tour experience with Olivia AI, a multilingual voice assistant that can answer property-related questions in over 100 languages. This feature is now available through various MLS platforms.
Additionally, Ocusell has integrated Restb.ai's computer vision technology into its List product, generating RESO-compliant property tags and descriptions in seconds. First MLS in Atlanta becomes the first to offer this solution to its users. Realcomp and SkySlope are also partnering to provide subscribers with access to SkySlope Forms and Broker Edition tools.
