oxiWorks, a Seattle-based tech firm, recently announced a major update to their software suite and new web products to help agents conduct business in compliance with recent rule changes in the real estate industry. The update includes a templated website builder for agents and brokerages, which allows professionals to market themselves and share compensation details with other agents. The website builder provides information about listings that cannot be found on the MLS or major portals like Zillow and Homes.com.
In addition to the website builder, MoxiWorks has also enhanced their ActivePipe automated email marketing tool with more than three dozen new buyer-focused email templates. They have also updated their presentation product, MoxiPresent, to help agents market their value while educating clients about the new industry practice changes.
MoxiWorks CEO Eric Elfman emphasized that 80% of real estate agents are buyer-centric, and while the NAR settlement changes have led to some anxiety, brokerages and agents who use MoxiWorks have what they need at their fingertips. The proven products have been upgraded to help buyer's agents more quickly and easily display their value and earn their commissions.
To further assist agents in navigating the new reality post-settlement, MoxiWorks is hosting a webinar this month to discuss rule changes, technology, potential commission compression, and other topics. The webinar will also feature broker-owner Anthony Lamacchia as a panelist, discussing continuing legal threats to the industry and the enormous payday that lawyers for the plaintiffs in the commissions suits are expecting. MoxiWorks CEO Eric Elfman shared a video from Lamacchia on LinkedIn, stating that he thoroughly enjoyed his perspective on the issue.
