SI Computer Corporation has acquired a 200,000-square-foot warehouse in the City of Industry from Link Logistics for $65.2 million. The property features a new 4,735-square-foot office suite and ample space for 60 trailers and 56 vehicles.
The deal was facilitated by a $36 million acquisition loan from Taiwan's CTBC Bank. This purchase marks MSI's entry into the Los Angeles area, where it is navigating an uncertain economic landscape amidst tariffs.
Industry experts view this sale as a sign of strong demand for well-located industrial assets in areas with limited supply. The San Gabriel Valley's industrial market has seen a 4.3% vacancy rate and a decrease in total availability to 6.2%. MSI's acquisition reflects a broader trend of users purchasing real estate across various size ranges, including older assets.
MSI Computer Corporation is registered as Micro-Star International (Cayman) Holding Company in the Cayman Islands, where it has been incorporated since 2001.
