elissa Schrock, Executive Vice President of Mixed‑Use Development at HRP Group, has been chosen as NAIOP Massachusetts’ 2026 President. She will collaborate with staff and chapter leaders to steer initiatives, support members, and advance the association’s mission. Doug Manz, former 2025 President, will serve as 2026 Board Chair. Patrick Sousa (Marcus Partners) is President‑Elect, Stephen Davis (The Davis Companies) Treasurer, and Damian Szary (Redgate) Secretary, with James Tierney (JLL) and Erin Corcoran (Greystar) as committee advisors.
“NAIOP is the voice of commercial real‑estate development in Massachusetts,” Schrock said. “I look forward to working with staff and leadership to provide education, advocacy, and opportunities that help members succeed.” She leads HRP Group’s national mixed‑use platform and is driving Boston’s 776 Summer project. Tamara Small, CEO of NAIOP Massachusetts, added, “Now is a challenging time for the industry. I’ll work with Melissa and the Board to keep Massachusetts competitive for work and life.”
The meeting also honored industry excellence. Alyssa Morris (AEW Capital Management) received the 2025 President’s Award for her dedication to NAIOP’s growth. Paula Devereaux (Pierce Atwood LLP) earned the 2025 Government Affairs Champion Award for outstanding advocacy. For the first time, Development of the Year awards were presented: Urban Development of the Year – DUO (John M. Corcoran & Co., Joseph J. Corcoran, Marcus Partners); Suburban Development of the Year – The Newbury of Brookline (The HYM Investment Group); Distinguished Development of the Year – Lyrik Back Bay (Samuels & Associates), Boston’s first successful air‑rights project in over 40 years.
Members voted to rename the association Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA) Massachusetts, effective July 1, 2026, marking a new chapter.
