avid Conroy returns to the National Association of Realtors as its first chief data officer and senior vice president of strategy and innovation, beginning in early January. Conroy, who led NAR’s technology and innovation team from 2019 to mid‑2024, now brings experience from his current role as chief technology officer at the California Association of Realtors and earlier positions at the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. He will direct NAR’s data strategy and integrate internal technology systems, underscoring a unified data and innovation agenda as the industry accelerates its digital transformation. NAR’s CEO, Nykia Wright, emphasized that data is a strategic asset shaping the organization’s future and praised Conroy’s record of transformative technology work to deepen analytics, streamline operations, and give members a competitive edge.
The move follows a broader reshaping of NAR’s executive team, which also added CFO Matthew Cenedella, SVP of industry relations Jarrod Grasso, associate general counsel Leslie Nettleford‑Freeman, and leaders for member engagement, communications and education.
In North Carolina, the Association of Realtors announced that Amanda Stinton will become chief operating officer on December 15. Stinton, with over 17 years of industry leadership, most recently served as CEO of the Women’s Council of Realtors (Sept 2023‑May 2025) and was ranked 185th on T3 Sixty’s 2025 Swanepoel Power 200. Her earlier 16‑year tenure at NAR saw her rise to a director‑level position focused on sustainability and leadership. As COO, she will partner with CEO Andrea Bushnell to manage day‑to‑day operations and advance the organization’s leadership development and long‑term strategy. Bushnell praised Stinton’s strategic planning expertise as a key asset for delivering value to the 55,000 members, while Stinton expressed enthusiasm for empowering Realtors, enriching communities, and fostering innovation.
