L
ouellen Berger, a longtime New Orleans resident, has turned her home into a tourist attraction for Swifties and Halloween enthusiasts alike with an elaborate Eras Tour-themed skeleton display. The display, dubbed "Terror Swift: The scERAS Tour," has become a viral sensation, drawing in crowds of eager fans who line up to catch a glimpse.
Berger's fascination with Halloween began as a child and has continued through the years, with her intricate displays earning her fame and a dedicated Instagram account. Her latest creation was inspired by her 11 grandchildren, aged 3-12, who suggested the theme. Berger, a fashion enthusiast, designed the skeleton costumes herself using castoff clothing from family members.
Each skeleton corresponds to one of Taylor Swift's album "eras," from "Folklore" to "Midnights." The display includes a costume dedicated to Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and another based on her "Red" album. Berger's son notes that she always tries to create looks that tap into the current zeitgeist, making this display particularly fitting given Swift's recent concert in New Orleans.
Berger's bone collection has grown so large over the years that it now fills her garage. She and her husband set up the skeletons for two special days each year, taking suggestions from fans for pose ideas. The display has proven almost as popular as Swift's concerts themselves, with videos showing hoards of eager fans lining up to see the "Terror Swift" display.
