New Plans Unveiled for Luxury St. Regis Resort in Fort Lauderdale

The St. Regis Resort and Residences, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale, is now selling at Related Group's Bahia Mar development in South Florida.

A
new St. Regis-branded development is underway in South Florida, part of the Related Group's phased Bahia Mar project in Fort Lauderdale. Sales for the St. Regis Resort and Residences, Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale launched during the recent Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The 40-acre Bahia Mar site hosts the annual boat show.

The $2 billion project's first phase includes two 23-story condo towers with a combined 160 units, a 197-key luxury hotel, and a private beach club. Douglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing, with prices starting at $4.4 million for traditional condos and $2 million for condo-hotel units.

The redevelopment of Bahia Mar has been in the works since 2014, but faced legal challenges and was later rejected by the city before Related Group joined the project team in early 2023. Coconut Grove-based Arquitectonica is the project architect, and London-based Tara Bernerd & Partners is the interior design firm for the first phase.

The St. Regis will feature traditional three- to four-bedroom condos ranging from 2,600 square feet to 3,550 square feet, excluding penthouses. The condo-hotel units will have one to three bedrooms, as well as penthouses. About 17,000 square feet of indoor amenities are planned, including a spa, salon, fitness center, and children's entertainment space.

The hotel will also have two pools, its own gym and spa, and a restaurant. The overall project is expected to include 88,000 square feet of waterfront commercial space with restaurants, dockage, a public park along the Intracoastal Waterway, and a pedestrian promenade.
