New Retailers Announced for Miami Developments: Aldi, Ross & Luxury Brands

Retailers Open at Sawyer's Walk in Miami's Overtown: Target, Aldi, Burlington

n Miami's Overtown, retailers are opening at Sawyer's Walk, a 1.5 million-square-foot development on a 3.4-acre site. Target has already opened a 50,000-square-foot store, and Burlington is operating a 38,000-square-foot space. Aldi will open in a 25,000-square-foot area, while Five Below will occupy a 10,000-square-foot space. Ross Dress for Less will debut a 26,000-square-foot store in March.

    Sawyer's Walk features a 578-unit apartment building for low-income seniors and 175,000 square feet of retail space, along with a public plaza. Shipping company MSC Group paid $67 million for the offices at Sawyer's Walk, where MSC Cruises will have its North American headquarters.

    In Miami's Brickell City Centre, Swire Properties has secured nine new tenants. Already open are FP Movement, 7 For All Mankind, and Marc Jacobs, while Anthropologie leased 5,100 square feet. John Varvatos, Lacoste, and Nespresso also signed leases, with openings expected by year-end.

    Aritzia will debut a 9,800-square-foot store early next year, followed by Mango's 5,200-square-foot space. H&M has already opened a 25,000-square-foot store on two floors, and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer operates a 4,900-square-foot restaurant at Brickell City Centre.

    In Plantation, Lincoln Property Company secured four new leases and three renewals at Royal Palm Office Park. Brookfield Corporation renewed its 35,000-square-foot lease, while Atlas Renewable Energy USA took 6,700 square feet, Osaic Wealth leased 3,700 square feet, and WeFi Technology Group occupied 2,600 square feet.

    Malka, a Kosher restaurant from Tel Aviv, will open in downtown West Palm Beach. The 4,300-square-foot space is owned by an entity led by attorney Paul Krasker. Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls has opened a kiosk at Marina Village in Fort Lauderdale, offering Maine lobster menu items.

    Day Pitney renewed its lease and added square footage to its existing Coral Gables office. The law firm will occupy 15,200 square feet on the 14th floor and 4,200 square feet on the seventh floor at 396 Alhambra Circle.

    Genevieve and Daniel Ross plan a new fitness concept in Bay Harbor Islands with The Only Studio, which leased 1,300 square feet. DH Insurance Group subleased 7,600 square feet from TherapeuticsMD in Boca Raton. Bayview Asset Management renewed its 55,100-square-foot lease at the Office at Merrick Park in Coral Gables.

    Jetset Pilates will open a studio in Coral Springs, marking its continued expansion in South Florida. Zhana Gali signed a 10-year lease for 2,300 square feet within The Walk at University retail plaza.
