rover Real Estate, a long-standing member of Schoolcraft Tourism & Commerce (STC), has expanded its presence in the Upper Peninsula with the opening of a new office in Newberry, Michigan. This strategic move reflects the company's deep roots in the region and commitment to serving local communities with integrity, innovation, and experience.
Founded by Marie and Marvin Grover in the late 1960s, Grover Real Estate has grown into a respected name in U.P. real estate. After David Muxlow purchased the business in 2001, he preserved the Grover name, honoring its reputation and values. "Our clients' interests always come first," said David Muxlow. "We're excited to bring that same dedication to the Newberry area."
The new office, located at 320 Newberry Avenue, Suite A, officially opened on May 1st. A grand opening celebration will take place on June 20th from 1-2 p.m., and all are invited. The team, led by licensed broker Kristine McCraren and her son Joshua Gielecki, a recent college graduate, offers a full range of services including listings, buyer representation, property evaluations, marketing, and closing support.
Grover Real Estate brings over 150 years of combined real estate experience to its clients, known for their hardworking approach, use of up-to-date technology, aggressive marketing, and community involvement. "Newberry is a natural fit for our growth strategy," added Susie Muxlow. "We believe in collaboration among our agents and are already seeing the benefits of cross-office referrals and shared expertise."
Victoria George, Executive Director of STC, praised the expansion, saying it embodies the kind of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit that uplifts U.P. communities. As the Newberry office gains momentum, Grover Real Estate plans to continue expanding its agent base and community involvement, seeing strong growth potential in the region.
