ewmark Group has acquired Catella Valuation Advisory SAS, a Paris‑based firm that assessed about €40 billion of real‑estate assets in 2024 and served more than 180 clients across 3,200 properties. The deal expands Newmark’s presence in France and marks a key step in its European growth strategy.
Catella’s core team averages 15 years of experience and includes 12 valuation specialists who have handled office, retail, industrial, residential, hospitality, medical, nursing‑home and leisure assets. With the acquisition, Newmark’s French staff rises to roughly 200, including the Deskeo group.
Founded in 2005 as a subsidiary of Catella France SAS, Catella Valuation Advisory is known for its technical rigor, deep expertise and trusted client relationships. CEO Jean‑François Drouets and Managing Director Nicolas Brosseaud, along with the entire team, will join Newmark under its brand while continuing to serve clients in France and across Europe.
The transaction supports Newmark’s broader push to expand its Valuation & Advisory business across EMEA. As of September 30 2025, the firm reported a 26.3 % year‑to‑date rise in valuation‑related revenue. For the twelve months ending that date, Newmark generated more than $3.1 billion in revenue, operates from about 170 offices, and employs over 8,500 professionals worldwide.
