ennifer Johnson has been appointed President and CEO of Nitsch Engineering, effective January 1, 2025. She succeeds Lisa Brothers, who will now serve as Principal and Chair of the Board. As President and CEO, Johnson will focus on driving growth while expanding the company's commitment to building better communities.

    Johnson brings a proven track record of strategic leadership, having worked at Nitsch since 2010 in various roles including Executive Vice President, Director of Resilience Planning & Design, Project Manager, and Project Engineer. She has been a shareholder since 2017 and served on the Board of Directors since 2020.

    Johnson expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating that she is eager to work with colleagues and collaborators to drive excellence and innovation in the built environment. Chair of the Board Brothers praised Johnson's strategic mindset, authentic leadership, and thoughtful mentorship, noting that she has been a critical part of Nitsch's growth and success.

    With 20 years of engineering experience, Johnson holds a B.S. from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. from North Carolina State University, as well as a graduate degree from Harvard Business School's Executive Education program. She is actively involved in various professional societies dedicated to the environment, including EBC/NE, NEWEA, and WEF.
