hotel near Great Northern Mall in North Olmsted has been sold and will undergo renovations to become a Holiday Inn. Hotel RL Cleveland Airport West, located on Country Club Boulevard just south of Brookpark Road, was purchased by SIGMM LLC for $3.5 million on January 11th. The 140-room hotel will be renovated and rebranded as a Holiday Inn by InterContinental Hotel Group. According to Marcus & Millichap, the property will undergo a full renovation in the coming months.

    The current amenities at the hotel include an indoor pool, fitness center, airport shuttle, and 3,525 square feet of meeting and event space. The hotel is situated near Interstate 480 and five miles from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. This marks the latest change in ownership for the property, which was built in 1989 and has previously been owned by LightHouse Hotels and Resorts, who planned to rebrand it as Sonesta and complete a $3 million renovation in 2023.
